What is going on with these water crystals?

Dr. Masaru Emoto discovered that water crystals can develop different structures based on the water source.

He has conducted many variations to see what other things might affect the crystal shape and appearance.   The results produced from labeling the water bottles with different words are shown below

Dr Emoto has inspired many types of experiments including one using cooked rice.

These photos are of my rice experiment beginning on 6-19-09

Cooking regular rice in distilled water, I put about 1 cup into each clean canning jars.

After placing the lids on, I then labeled 3 jars with positive phrases and 3 jars with negative ones.

These photos show the jars after 5 weeks.  Consistently every negative (red label) jar grew some type of brown/black mold.  1 positive jar (clean-neat-organized) exhibited some localized dark dis-colorization around the 4th week.

The 2 jars that had the most change from the start were the love-joy-happy and hate-fear-sad ones.  The negative jar grew the most brown/black mold of the 6, and the positive jar fermented(without dis-colorization) popping the metal lid.
